Hi, I'm the human behind the unicorns. People tend to meet me through one of three doors, so let me introduce all three.
At my core, I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). That's the foundation everything else stands on. I've spent over a decade in direct clinical work: community mental health, crisis stabilization, inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient programs.
Meet the Healer →I'm also a supervisor, trainer, and former adjunct faculty. Somewhere around year five, I started spending as much time helping other clinicians grow as I did seeing clients myself, and I found I genuinely loved it.
Meet the Lantern-Keeper →And a few years ago, I started doing the work of a project manager. Onboarding redesigns, quality audits, pilot programs: I was already running them. Eventually I took the initiative to get my PMP, which felt less like switching lanes and more like finally getting the right map for a road I'd already been driving.
Meet the Architect →I'm a serial hobbyist who'll try almost anything once (most recently archery and ice skating, with results best described as enthusiastic rather than skilled). Movement is how I think things through; lifting and staying active clears my head better than any planning meeting ever has. I love puzzles and games, the actual tabletop and brain-teaser kind, and I think that's part of why fixing a clunky system scratches the same itch for me as solving a good puzzle. And fantasy is genuinely where my heart lives, which is the whole reason this site exists as a fantasy world in the first place.
I build the structure so the healers can focus on healing. That's the whole job, dressed up in a costume I happen to genuinely love.
